IUB to Hold Public Hearing Regarding Iowa-American Water’s Rate Case
(Des Moines) — The Iowa Utilities Board has concluded three public comment hearings regarding Iowa-American Water Company’s (IAW) request for a customer rate increase. IAW filed an application on August 28, 2020, (Docket No. RPU-2020-0001) to increase its water utility rates and charges. Review the rate case FAQ document and the public information handout.
Comment hearings were held in Clinton and Davenport and a third was conducted virtually to allow Iowa-American customers to ask questions of the company, the IUB, and the Office of Consumer Advocate. Comments made during the public hearings will become part of the permanent case record. All comments and filings may be reviewed in Docket No. RPU-2020-0001.
