Utility Complaints or Inquiries

Analysts in the Iowa Utilities Board's Customer Service Section respond to public telephone, email, and written correspondence about utility activities and complaints about service.

If you are unable to resolve issues with your utility service provider or have questions about utility service rules and requirements, the Board's Customer Service staff are here to assist you. Customer Service staff are available weekdays from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, not including official state holidays.
